Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Web Developer who is passionate about web development and possesses a strong understanding of SEO Site Audits, particularly in WordPress, Laravel, and hosting environments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in web development and be capable of optimizing websites for improved search engine visibility and performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Website Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and content creators, to build and maintain responsive websites using WordPress and Laravel.
- Implement custom themes, plugins, and extensions to meet project requirements.
- Ensure websites are optimized for speed, security, and user experience.
2. SEO Site Audit:
- Conduct comprehensive SEO site audits to identify technical issues and areas for improvement.
- Analyze website performance, including site speed, mobile-friendliness, and search engine rankings.
- Recommend and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to enhance organic visibility.
3. Hosting Management:
- Manage website hosting environments, including server configuration, domain management, and DNS settings.
- Monitor server performance, security, and scalability, and troubleshoot any hosting-related issues.
4. Technical Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to websites, such as broken links, 404 errors, and page load problems.
- Collaborate with the team to address and rectify any website-related issues promptly.
5. Content Management:
- Update and maintain website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
- Ensure that all content adheres to SEO best practices and remains up to date.
6. Stay Informed:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, SEO algorithm changes, and emerging web development technologies.
- Continuously expand your knowledge and skills in web development and SEO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in web development.
- Proficiency in WordPress and Laravel.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience with website hosting management and server administration.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and performance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
