Job Summary
Responsible for end-to-end warehouse operations — inbound/outbound flow, inventory accuracy, safety, and team performance — ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while meeting production and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Operations — Design and run warehouse strategy aligned with production and customer service targets; manage receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch; oversee logistics coordination for timely, cost-effective delivery.
Inventory Control — Maintain accurate stock records; enforce FIFO; run cycle counts and stock reconciliation; sync physical stock with ERP; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Quality — Ensure proper labeling, traceability, and inspection of outgoing goods; verify waste/recycling records per SOP.
Safety & Facilities — Implement HSE programs, safety audits, and emergency preparedness; maintain warehouse infrastructure, equipment, and 5S standards.
Data & Reporting — Build KPI dashboards; analyze warehouse data to support management decisions; keep documentation audit-ready.
People Management — Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff; manage performance, workforce planning, and succession.
Compliance — Support ISO, FSSC, Halal, and Safety audits; close findings on time; drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain
- Min. 3 years' experience in warehouse management/logistics, industrial/manufacturing sector preferred (FMCG background less relevant here per our sourcing notes)
- Proficient in WMS and ERP systems
- Strong grasp of FIFO, stock control, inventory reconciliation
- Good leadership and cross-department collaboration skills
- Working English communication
- Knowledge of ISO, FSSC, Halal, and Safety compliance is a plus
