Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified, enthusiastic Full-Time Vocal Teacher to join our team of music educators. In this role, you will conduct individual and group vocal lessons focused on healthy vocal technique, repertoire, and performance preparation. You will guide students through their musical journey, helping them build stage confidence, vocal control, and artistic expression.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging vocal lessons tailored to individual student goals, ages, and learning styles.
- Teach proper vocal mechanics (breath control, pitch, posture, and tone), music theory, sight-singing, and performance skills.
- Evaluate student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare students for recitals, showcase concerts, auditions, music examinations, and competitions.
- Collaborate with faculty members on institution events, workshops, and community performances.
- Maintain a structured, safe, and positive studio environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education (Vocal), Vocal Performance, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience teaching vocal technique to students of diverse ages and skill levels (experience teaching early childhood or preschoolers is a strong plus).
- Ability to play basic piano/guitar accompaniment during vocal lessons is preferred (secondary experience in piano or violin is an advantage).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with students and parents, alongside a cooperative, communicative approach with the internal team.
- Encouraging, patient, and adaptable teaching style.
- Willing to work full-time (Monday–Saturday).
