Role
You will gain hands-on experience by assisting Visual Designers in conceptualizing and creating engaging visual content and design assets for various digital and select print media. This internship offers a foundational learning opportunity in visual communication, design execution, and collaboration within a dynamic creative team.
Responsibilities
- Learn to contribute to the development of design concepts, graphics, and layouts based on project requirements, fostering creative thinking.
- Assist in developing visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and basic motion design for digital platforms like websites, social media, and marketing materials.
- Learn to ensure brand consistency across various digital and print assets under senior guidance.
- Support the creation and refinement of UI elements such as icons, banners, and typography in collaboration with the design team.
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions with copywriters, UX/UI designers, and digital strategists to develop innovative visual ideas.
- Assist in preparing and presenting design concepts, learning to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques, actively contributing to a learning-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (preferably 3rd or 4th year) in Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design, Communication Visual, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: No prior professional experience required, but a strong academic portfolio or personal projects showcasing design skills and creativity are essential.
- Technical/Hard Skills: Proficiency or eagerness to learn design tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. Basic understanding of color theory, typography, and composition.
- Soft Skills: Good communication and teamwork abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Creative, adaptable, and passionate about digital design. Ability to quickly translate ideas visually.
- Bonus Points: Active involvement in online design communities or personal design projects.
