Job Overview
HEI ECHO is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Videographer Intern who is passionate about visual storytelling, video production, and digital content creation. This role will support the creative team in producing engaging video content for social media, digital campaigns, and other brand communication needs.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a good visual sense, understands current social media trends, and is interested in developing hands-on experience in video production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing video production for social media content, digital campaigns, and other creative projects.
- Operate cameras, smartphones, and basic video equipment to capture high-quality footage.
- Assist with lighting, audio setup, framing, and shot composition during filming.
- Collaborate with the creative and social media teams to develop visual concepts based on content briefs.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage, events, interviews, and other content as required.
- Assist in organizing footage, managing media files, and maintaining an organized project archive.
- Support the video editing process, including selecting footage, arranging sequences, adding music, and applying basic transitions when needed.
- Ensure video content follows the creative direction, brand identity, and platform-specific requirements.
- Stay updated on video trends, visual storytelling techniques, and popular content formats on Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
- Complete assigned tasks and project deliverables according to established deadlines.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates and final-year university students are welcome to apply.
- Strong interest in videography, filmmaking, video production, and digital content creation.
- Basic understanding of camera operation, framing, composition, lighting, and audio recording.
- Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar applications.
- Understands vertical video formats and content styles for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
- Has a good visual sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Willing to learn, receive feedback, and develop technical and creative skills.
- Able to collaborate effectively with the creative team and communicate clearly.
- Responsible, proactive, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines.
- Willing to participate in on-site shooting sessions or production activities when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating personal video projects, campus content, short films, or social media videos is an advantage.
- Familiarity with basic color correction, audio balancing, and video transitions.
- Basic photography skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with cameras, lenses, tripods, microphones, lighting equipment, or smartphone filming accessories is beneficial.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video projects is preferred, but personal and academic projects are welcome.
