Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end video production across social media, brand campaigns, and client projects, from pre-production planning through to final delivery.
- Shoot and edit high-quality short-form and long-form video content that aligns with each client's brand identity, platform, and campaign goals.
- Collaborate with internal creative teams and client stakeholders to develop concepts, incorporate feedback, and ensure the final output meets expectations.
- Operate and manage video equipment including cameras, lighting, and audio gear, maintaining production quality across every shoot.
- Edit footage with a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics, using motion graphics, colour grading, and sound design where needed.
- Deliver final video assets in the correct formats and specifications across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and meet project deadlines consistently.
- Stay current with the latest video trends, editing techniques, and platform best practices to keep KuCreatives' output fresh and competitive.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicating progress clearly to the team and flagging any production issues early.
Requirements
- Must have own laptop with sufficient specs for video editing.
- Willing to work full-time from office.
- Minimum S1 / Bachelor's degree in Film, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Videographer, Video Editor, or in a similar production role.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; familiarity with Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
- Strong eye for storytelling, pacing, colour, and visual composition. You know what makes a video feel right.
- Experienced in creating content for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Able to operate cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment independently on shoot days.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
