Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring seamless transitions, proper pacing, and engaging storytelling.
- Collaborate with the creative team, including producers, directors, and graphic designers, to meet project objectives.
- Add sound effects, voiceovers, music, and special effects to enhance video quality.
- Review scripts, shot lists, and raw footage to determine editing requirements.
- Manage and organize video assets and ensure backups of all projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and software in video editing and production.
- Maintain brand consistency across all video content.
- Optimize videos for different platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance video editing efficiency and generate creative visual content.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio of past work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
- Familiarity with video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of color grading and audio editing is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-based video editing tools is a plus.
