What You’ll Do:
As a Video Editor at MadeIndonesia, your responsibilities will include:
- Edit a variety of content, including YouTube videos, social media reels, Q&A interviews, and ads
- Perform color grading to achieve cinematic, polished visuals
- Create clean and stylish text animations and subtitles — primarily in German, so B1 or B2 German language skills are required.
- Design professional-quality sound mixing and sound design
- Enhance storytelling with B-rolls, overlays, and dynamic transitions
- Assemble rough cuts and structure story flow when required
- Deliver content consistently on time with an efficient, reliable workflow
- Collaborate closely with the creative team while following brand guidelines
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Solid understanding of cinematic editing, storytelling, and dynamic pacing
- Experience working with German-language material (subtitles & text animations)
- Ability to manage both pre-cut and full-edit projects independently
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, and syncing visuals with sound/music
- High attention to detail and consistent delivery of quality output
- Reliable, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- German language skills B1 or B2 are required.
- Ability to work on-site (WFO) in Sleman, Yogyakarta.
Nice to Have:
- Motion design skills (Adobe After Effects or similar)
- Experience producing content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and paid social ads (PPC)
- Knowledge of music licensing and sourcing royalty-free audio tracks
