Job Vacancy: Vice Principal of Wonderhope Preschool and Kindergarten
Wonderhope Preschool and Kindergarten is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice Principal to support the Principal in leading the school and ensuring excellence in early childhood education. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, operational expertise, and a commitment to child-centered learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Principal in overseeing the academic, administrative, and operational management of the school
- Manage daily school operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with school policies and procedures
- Ensure the effective implementation and continuous development of the active learning curriculum
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teaching and support staff
- Lead curriculum planning, classroom observations, and professional development programs
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
- Communicate professionally and effectively with parents, staff, and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with educational standards, regulations, and school requirements
- Assume full leadership responsibility in the absence of the Principal
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in Preschool or Kindergarten
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in school operations, academic coordination, or leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of active learning and play-based early childhood curriculum
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and team management skills
- Good English proficiency as a second language, both spoken and written
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, responsible, proactive, and professional
- Strong commitment to early childhood education and child development
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively under pressure
