Job Role:

The Vertical Solution Engineer (Mining Industry) plays a key role in developing, localizing, and implementing ICT solutions for the mining, smelting, and cement industries. This role bridges technical solution design and business development, ensuring the company's digital solutions are tailored to industry-specific needs and operational challenges. The position requires a strong combination of industry knowledge, technical solution capability, and stakeholder collaboration, to drive the competitiveness in the industrial digital transformation space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Industry Solution Design & Development

1. Lead the technical design and optimization of ICT solutions for mining, smelting, and cement industry clients.
2. Translate customer requirements into comprehensive technical proposals and architectures.
3. Ensure solutions are technically sound, cost-effective, and aligned with client business needs.

• Business & Customer Engagement

1. Collaborate with account teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategic technical proposals.
2. Participate in marketing and customer engagement activities to demonstrate the company's technical capabilities and industry leadership.
3. Act as a trusted advisor to clients on industrial digitalization and smart mining solutions.

• Solution Enhancement & Competitiveness

1. Gather and analyze customer requirements and industry trends to improve the company's mining solution portfolio.
2. Cooperate with regional and HQ solution teams to refine solution competitiveness and localization.
3. Provide feedback on technical gaps, feature improvements, and implementation best practices.

• Cross-functional Collaboration

1. Work closely with the product, delivery, and R&D teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of mining solutions.
2. Support key project delivery, testing, and acceptance phases in collaboration with internal and external partners.

• Knowledge Sharing & Enablement

1. Document and share successful cases and project experiences to strengthen solution knowledge across the Asia Pacific region.
2. Contribute to internal training and technical enablement programs for local and regional sales/pre-sales teams.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: At least Bachelor Degree in Engineering, ICT, or related technical disciplines.
• Background:

1. Seasoned Pre Sales professional worked in ICT companies.
2. Former consultant supporting mining ICT projects.

• Experience: At least 10 years engaging with the mining industry (including smelting and cement), ideally in digital transformation or ICT solution implementation.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of mining operations, automation systems, data communication networks, and industrial ICT architecture.
• Product Expertise:

1. Hands-on experience in industrial ICT and automation solutions relevant to mining, including smart mining platforms, industrial networking, edge computing, cloud services, data center systems, and IoT-based monitoring.
2. Deep understanding of industrial digitalization trends, integration between IT and OT (Operational Technology), and multi-vendor solution ecosystems.

• Language: English (professional fluency in spoken and written).
