VAPORISTA / STORE CREW – SMOKEMART

SmokeMart is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Vaporista / Store Crew to join our team.

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of the vape and broader nicotine industry, enjoys dealing with customers, and can confidently provide product information and recommendations to adult customers.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the vape and tobacco industry and wants to develop their career within a professional retail environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Vaporista / Store Crew, you will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining the store, handling transactions, and ensuring products are properly stocked and presented.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist customers with product information, recommendations, and general enquiries.
• Have strong knowledge of the vape and nicotine industry.
• Understand different types of vape devices, disposable vapes, pod systems, e-liquids, nicotine products, coils, accessories, and related products.
• Have knowledge of the broader tobacco industry, including cigarettes, cigars, shisha/hookah, and other nicotine-related products.
• Stay informed about new products, brands, flavours, devices, and developments within the vape and tobacco market.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service to adult customers.
• Communicate confidently with both Indonesian and international customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Perform daily stock checking and inventory counting.
• Receive, check, organise, and store incoming products.
• Monitor stock levels and report low-stock, damaged, or missing products to management.
• Ensure products are correctly displayed, labelled, and organised.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing store procedures.
• Handle cash and payment transactions accurately.
• Follow SmokeMart's company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Support the store team with daily operational tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a Vaporista, Vape Store Crew, Tobacco Retailer, Retail Sales Assistant, or similar position is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the vape industry and nicotine products.
• Good understanding of tobacco products, including cigarettes, cigars, and shisha/hookah.
• General knowledge of nicotine-related products and the wider nicotine market.
• Good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Able to communicate professionally with international customers.
• Previous experience using a POS system.
• Able to perform stock counting, stock checking, and basic inventory control.
• Strong attention to detail when handling products, stock, and transactions.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Honest, reliable, responsible, and punctual.
• Well-presented and professional.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willing to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Previous retail experience is an advantage.
