About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant Manager to lead and mentor our travel consulting team. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of airline fare rules, global destinations, and travel industry standards. You will oversee daily operations, ensure service excellence, and support the team in delivering accurate and efficient travel solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, manage, and support a team of Travel Consultants.
• Oversee booking operations and ensure all enquiries are handled efficiently.
• Support complex itinerary planning and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with fare rules, airline policies, and company guidelines.
• Monitor team performance, provide training, and identify development needs.
• Maintain strong industry relationships with airlines, suppliers, and travel partners.
• Handle escalated customer issues and provide professional resolutions.
• Ensure quality control of all travel bookings and documentation.
• Prepare managerial reports, presentations, and performance summaries using MS Excel and
PowerPoint.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in travel consulting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Extensive knowledge of airline fare rules and global travel destinations.
• Familiarity with GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is a strong advantage.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Jakarta, Indonesia.
