PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

About the Position
We are looking for a creative, energetic, and structured Program Development Officer to design and develop educational and engaging programs for our international youth summer camp.
This position will be responsible for turning educational objectives into fun, interactive, and meaningful camp experiences — combining team building, discussion, games, competitions, presentations, debates, and project-based activities.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with young people, is comfortable developing new concepts, and can balance education, entertainment, and youth development.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and design the overall summer camp program structure, including daily activities, themes, schedules, and learning objectives.
- Create engaging team-building activities and group challenges that encourage communication, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving.
- Develop discussion sessions with relevant and age-appropriate topics for teenagers.
- Design educational games, simulations, challenges, and interactive activities.
- Develop competition formats such as:
- Presentation
- Debate
- Exhibition
- Project competition
- Research/paper presentation
- Group challenge
- Other creative competition formats
- Develop project-based learning activities where participants work in teams to create a final project or presentation.
- Prepare activity guidelines, rules, scoring systems, judging criteria, and required materials.
- Research current youth trends, educational topics, and international youth program concepts to develop fresh activities.
- Coordinate with the event/operation team to ensure every program can be implemented practically on-site.
- Work with facilitators, mentors, judges, and other instructors to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Brief facilitators and prepare facilitator guides / activity instructions.
- Evaluate each activity after implementation and propose improvements for future programs.
- Assist in developing new youth programs beyond the summer camp when required.
Requirements
- Male, maximum 35 years old.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1), preferably from:
- Communication / Communication Science
- Psychology
- Education
- Event Management
- Public Relations
- Organizational Development
- Other relevant fields
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in program development, youth programs, education, events, training, community development, or similar fields.
- Experience working with teenagers / young adults is highly preferred.
- Creative and able to develop activities from a blank page into a complete program concept.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of team dynamics, leadership, communication, and group activities.
- Able to create structured concepts, schedules, rules, scoring systems, and activity guidelines.
- Comfortable creating and presenting ideas in English.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Willing to work on-site during camps and events, including weekends or outside normal working hours when required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced international event environment.
