Job Description :
- Lead and manage the QA team throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Define testing strategy, test planning, and testing approach for each project.
- Review business requirements and technical specifications to ensure testability.
- Design, review, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
- Develop and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, Regression, Smoke, and End-to-End testing activities.
- Monitor defect lifecycle, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with developers and Business Analysts to resolve issues.
- Ensure test deliverables are completed on schedule with high quality.
- Prepare test reports, metrics, and quality status for project stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide QA team members on testing best practices and automation implementation.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, Developers, and Infrastructure teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, and automation coverage.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Testing, with at least 2 years as a QA/Test Lead.
- Strong experience in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services projects is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in preparing Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases, and Test Reports.
- Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Katalon, or equivalent.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of SQL for database validation and testing.
- Experience using defect management and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiar with Regression, Integration, System, UAT, Performance, and End-to-End testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring abilities.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced banking environment.
