Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Test Environment Engineer who will take full ownership of the setup, maintenance, stability, and readiness of our testing environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup & Maintenance: Perform deployment, configuration, and routine maintenance of various test environments (Development, Staging, QA, and Pre-Production).
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize testing infrastructure across both on-premises systems and cloud platforms.
- Server & Database Administration: Oversee and manage dedicated servers and databases used for testing purposes, including data seeding, backup, and environment restoration.
- Stability & Availability: Monitor, analyze, and guarantee high environment stability & availability to prevent any technical infrastructure bottlenecks during the testing cycle.
- Testing Readiness: Facilitate and ensure total readiness of the testing environment before any test cycle begins (e.g., verifying correct application versions, configurations, and test data setup).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of [e.g., 2-5 years] of professional experience in setting up and maintaining test environments or in a similar capacity (DevOps / SysAdmin / QA Infra).
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure (on-prem and cloud solutions) such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Solid expertise in managing servers (Linux/Windows Server) and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Proven experience utilizing monitoring tools to track and maintain system stability and availability.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and containerization tools (Docker / Kubernetes) is highly preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, proactive communication, and ability to collaborate smoothly across cross-functional teams (QA, Developers, DevOps).
