The Territory Manager position is highly focused on current business maintenance and seeking for new growth opportunity in the market; in a defined geography and sector(s) for Food & Beverage.
This position will primarily focus on hardcore sales, customer management and service (additional products, tools and services) to existing accounts. The emphasis will be on existing account maintenance (75%) apart from new account development and service (25%). This position will include selling solutions to new and existing customer, solving product or application problems, implementing appropriate product applications, and solving other issues impacting customer. Also includes follow up and collection of payments, various Forms etc.
Education and Experience
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering or Bio-Sciences.
Minimum Experience required: 3- 5 years of concept selling experience in B2B sales. (Direct Selling) of Food hygiene products or related food packaging / industry experience.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken). Solid demonstrated presentation skills with ability to convey complex information to a broad audience.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task while being flexible with changing demands.
- Self-starter and results-oriented individual with the confidence to take risk and partner with business leaders as required.
- High sense of drive and urgency with a positive outlook.
- Ability to implement problem solving techniques in order to resolve customer issues and take corrective action.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilize data and strategic tools to improve sales, meet goals, identify opportunities, and exceed customer expectations.
- Demonstrated sales skills and/or training with ability to utilize consultative sales techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a cooperative work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel up to 80%.
- Ability to manage the Territory and good at prospecting, cold calls.
- Customer service and relationship management for existing and new customer development.
- Maintain a comprehensive outlook of the region and future trends.
- B2B Sales experience.
- Act as a key contributor to the Strategy making team.
- Ensure timely provision of training to the team.
- Plan for retention of stable performers and improvement plans for weak performers.
- Identify opportunities to enhance visibility in the market i.e through participation in exhibitions, fairs, etc.
- Contribute new ideas for product development also test the idea.
- Give timely feedback about the product operation and working to the technical team.
- Act as a customized service provider to the key customers.
