Requirements:
- Minimum Two (2) years of experience
- Strong ability to sketch civil designs using AutoCAD and Sketch-up.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively liaise with some stakeholders such as vendors and internal user departments.
- Good project management skills and experience in managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Good written and verbal English language proficiency.
- Good computer literacy (AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Microsoft Office and Google Suite).
Job Specification:
- Generate drawings based on the specifications provided by the Consultants, Head of Projects and Project Engineer.
- Site inspections for collecting and analysing the site for data to determine the best possible design
- Prepare work method drawings for carrying out the construction or renovation works.
- Prepare a Bill of Quantities as and when required.
- Fine-tune and modify plans to suit the needs of the school
- To be familiar with, and uphold all, Safeguarding policies and Child Protection and Responsible Use of Data policies and procedures within the school.
- In liaison with the Line Manager, take responsibility for upholding Health and Safety practice within your own working area and be responsible for completing risk assessments/near misses as appropriate.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as advised by the Building Projects Manager or the Head of Building & Maintenance.
