Job Description*

1. Responsible for the daily technical management of vessels.

2. Prepare vessel operating and maintenance budgets and manage budget execution.

3. Coordinate and arrange vessel repairs, including voyage repairs and dry-docking.

4. Conduct regular onboard inspections and provide comprehensive technical management of vessel machinery and equipment to ensure good operating condition.

5. Manage vessel bunkering and fuel consumption. Regularly analyze vessel fuel consumption reports and conduct onboard inspections when necessary.

6. Provide technical guidance and support during vessel breakdowns and emergency repairs.

7. Review, train, and evaluate Chief Engineers and engine department crew members.

8. Coordinate the maintenance and renewal of vessel certificates and arrange inspections with relevant classification societies, ensuring deficiencies are rectified and closed in a timely manner.

Requirements*

1. Proficient in Chinese.

2. Bachelor’s degree or above in Marine Engineering or a related maritime discipline, with a strong interest in the shipping industry.

3. At least 1 year of experience serving as a Chief Engineer, with solid knowledge of vessel technical operations and marine engineering management.

4. Familiar with the ISM Code and relevant international and domestic conventions, regulations, guidelines, and related requirements.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard office software.

6. Strong sense of responsibility and good teamwork skills.
