We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Technical Leader to guide our talented engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical direction, architecture, and execution of our backend systems. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, a passion for mentorship, and a proven track record of leading teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and empower a team of developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
- Architectural Design: Design and oversee the architecture of robust, scalable, and maintainable backend systems, ensuring they meet current and future business needs.
- Technical Strategy: Drive the technical strategy and roadmap for the team. Make key decisions on technology stacks, libraries, tools, and best practices.
- DevOps and Automation: Champion and advance our DevOps culture. Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code strategies to streamline development and deployment.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Set and enforce the highest standards for code quality, testing, performance, and security through code reviews, pair programming, and establishing clear guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Problem Solving: Act as the senior technical escalation point for the team, guiding them through complex technical challenges and driving resolution.
- Agile Execution: Lead the team in an Agile/Scrum environment, ensuring timely and effective delivery of product increments.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership, team lead, or senior mentorship capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in architecting and delivering complex, high-performance backend systems using the Java/Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Proven experience leading DevOps initiatives and a deep, hands-on understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Extensive experience with database systems, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, and designing data models for scalability.
- Strong experience designing and deploying solutions on major cloud platforms, specifically Azure, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Apache Kafka.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., VueJS, React) and mobile application development (Kotlin, Swift, Flutter) to facilitate better cross-team collaboration.
- Master's degree in a related field.
