ZAKKI is operated entirely by volunteers, who come from diverse backgrounds and are located across multiple cities in Indonesia and abroad. Volunteers are not paid but can include their contributions to ZAKKI in their portfolio. English proficiency is required for team communications.
We have several ongoing projects, including SaveMe, which provides reporting platforms for sexual misconduct, human trafficking, and bullying, as well as Naon, an anti-corruption and lost-and-found project. Our Agni project offers funeral services, while Rekan is our volunteer networking and community learning hub. We also have MAHA EduGame, an anti-discrimination and anti-violence game for toddlers and preteens, and Kimar, our on-site marketplace for microbusiness exposure to beneficiaries.
We are currently seeking UIUX volunteers to design a PWA (Progressive Web App) Website and Mobile applications, which will serve as the foundation for software developer volunteers working on the project.
Requirement :
- Proficiency in design, with knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Familiarity with wireframe tools (e.g., Figma).
- Strong ideation and initiative skills to work in a team.
- Active, helpful, and collaborative individuals (not passive).
- Good time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of Front End Developer (e.g., HTML, CSS) and/or Games Development Platform (Ionic, PyGame, Unity, C++, Java) is preferred.
