As a Part-Time Teacher, you will deliver interactive extracurricular classes for preschool and elementary students at international schools across North Jakarta. This role is ideal for passionate educators who are confident teaching in English and enjoy working in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
What You'll Do
Deliver engaging extracurricular classes for Preschool and Grade 1–6 students at international schools.
- Teach one or more of the following subjects:
- Science
- Coding & Robotics
- Entrepreneurship
- Create a positive, interactive, and enjoyable learning environment.
- Encourage students' curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and confidence.
- Assess student participation and learning progress while providing constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different age groups and learning styles.
- Collaborate with the academic team to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
- Attend teacher training and certification programs provided by Kiddo.id.
Work Arrangement
- Part-Time
- Teaching locations are in North Jakarta, including Kelapa Gading and Cakung
- Maximum 2 classes per day.
- Teachers may travel between schools within the Jakarta area.
- Must be available to teach on-site on weekdays between 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
- Teaching days will vary depending on the class schedule.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent in spoken English with confidence in teaching children.
- Bachelor's degree or certification in:
- Education
- Early Childhood Education
- Science
- Engineering
- Computer Science
- Or other related fields.
- Experience teaching children or working in an educational environment is preferred.
- Able to deliver fun, engaging, and age-appropriate learning activities.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about children's education and development.
- Willing to participate in Kiddo.id's training and certification program.
- Able to travel between teaching locations as required.
