Tax Manager

ILYA Consulting is a multidisciplinary advisory firm operating across strategy, analytics, finance, and law.

The Tax Manager will be a core member of our finance and tax practice, working directly under our Finance and Tax Partner. The role covers Indonesian tax compliance, advisory, and client delivery across a range of engagements.

Responsibilities

1. Manage end-to-end tax compliance for clients: corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and annual reporting under Indonesian tax law and PSAK-aligned financials.
2. Provide tax advisory on transactions, restructuring, and cross-border arrangements, particularly for foreign companies entering Indonesia.
3. Review and interpret tax positions in client financial statements, including deferred tax and tax exposure disclosures.
4. Coordinate with the DGT on behalf of clients for audits, objections, and restitution processes.
5. Support integrated engagements where tax intersects with financial due diligence, valuation, or regulatory review.
6. Assist in identifying and converting client opportunities through existing engagements and professional networks.

Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of tax experience, with at least 2 years in advisory or consulting.
2. Brevet A and B certified; Brevet C is a plus.
3. Strong command of Indonesian tax regulations and tax authority procedures.
4. Experience with listed companies or foreign-invested entities preferred.
5. Able to work across finance, legal, and strategy teams.
6. Professional communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
