As a Tax Junior Associate, you will be responsible for various aspects of tax accounting that are crucial to the smooth operation of the company. Key responsibilities include managing tax reporting and preparing documentation for tax audits with accuracy and timeliness. You will also be expected to conduct financial analysis and engage in tax planning and tax accounting to optimize the company’s tax position. Furthermore, you will collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and efficiently handle administrative matters related to the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) and the Coretax system.
We are looking for candidates with at least a bachelor’s degree (S1) who are enthusiastic about developing their technical and communication skills. Required competencies include proficiency in tax reporting, tax audits, Microsoft Excel, SAP, accounting, financial analysis, communication, tax accounting, DJP procedures, tax law, the Coretax system, tax regulations, and tax planning. About the role
This role involves managing the company's tax obligations, including calculation, submission, and reporting of various tax types (PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh Final, PPN, and PPh Badan) in a timely manner. The position requires ensuring all company transactions comply with applicable tax regulations and maintaining accurate tax documentation.
Key responsibilities
Calculate, submit, and report company tax obligations (PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh Final, PPN, and PPh Badan) on time
Create Tax Invoices and compile evidence of tax withholding/collection
Perform reconciliation of financial reports between accounting records and tax reports
Prepare documents and data required for tax audit or inspection processes
Ensure all company transactions comply with applicable tax regulations
About you
Minimum S1 degree in Accounting or Taxation
Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in taxation (experience at a Tax Consulting Office is an added value)
Possess Brevet A & B Certificate
Proficient in operating tax applications (Coretax) and accounting software
Understand and stay updated on current Indonesian tax regulations and laws
Detail-oriented, honest, with strong numerical analysis skills and ability to work to deadlines
