Job Description
As a Tax Intern at PT CND International Trade Indonesia, you will support the Finance & Tax team in handling daily tax administration, ensuring compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, and assisting with tax reporting processes. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in corporate taxation within an international trading company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and organizing tax documents, invoices, and supporting schedules.
- Support the preparation of monthly tax reports, including VAT (PPN), Withholding Tax (PPh), and other applicable taxes.
- Help reconcile tax data with accounting records and ERP reports.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tax filings under the guidance of the Tax Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate tax documentation and ensure proper filing of tax records.
- Support tax audits, tax inspections, and requests from internal or external stakeholders by preparing required documents.
- Monitor tax payment deadlines and assist in maintaining the tax compliance calendar.
- Stay updated on Indonesian tax regulations and assist the team in implementing relevant changes.
- Perform other finance and administrative tasks assigned by the Finance & Tax team.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing ( is still an active student with no classes left ) with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Indonesian tax regulations (VAT, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality when handling financial and tax information.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
- Available to commit to the internship period as required by the company.
