Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including processing supplier invoices, expense claims, and ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely.
- Verify and reconcile vendor transactions, ensuring alignment with purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documents.
- Review payment vouchers and maintain financial control, ensuring completeness, proper approvals, and compliance with company policies before payment processing.
- Prepare monthly tax working papers, including VAT (PPN), WHT (PPh 21, 23, 4(2)), and ensure proper tax treatment for all transactions.
- Maintain tax documentation and support tax reporting, including Coretax administration and preparation of supporting documents for filing and audits.
- Prepare and post AP and tax-related journal entries, ensuring all entries are properly documented and aligned with the closing timeline.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of AP balances and tax payable accounts.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready documentation, supporting both internal and external audit processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Purchasing, Warehouse, HR, and Operations) to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.
- Provide temporary backup support for finance operations during team absence (e.g., maternity leave coverage).
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with exposure to Accounts Payable and Tax Compliance
Preferred Background:
Experience in manufacturing or PMA (Foreign Investment Company) environment and familiar with Indonesian tax regulations (PPN, PPh 21, 23, 4(2))
Certification:
Certified Brevet A & B
Language:
English proficiency (oral and written) is a must
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes, taxation, and accounting journal principles
- Good understanding of Indonesian tax compliance and regulations
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy and discipline
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
