We are hiring system engineer L1 to support merchant acquisition and digital payment expansion for one of Indonesia’s leading banking institutions.

Work Address: BRI Building 1, Jl. Jenderal Sudirman No. 14, RT.14/RW.1, Bendungan Hilir, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta City, Special Capital Region of Jakarta 10210

Contract Duration: 12 months (performance review every 4 months)

Work Arrangement: Work From Office (WFO) – Mandatory

Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field (required)

Availability to Join: Maximum 2 weeks notice period (required)

Requirements

Fundamental knowledge of Containerization (Red Hat OpenShift/OCP) and Cloud Infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform).

Proficiency in writing and executing basic SQL queries for MySQL and Oracle databases.

Basic understanding of API integrations and payment gateway workflows.

Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Grafana, or GCP Monitoring).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

Ability to perform basic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for technical glitches.

Excellent communication skills and a "team-first" attitude.

Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Willingness to work in a shift-based rotation if required.

Responsibilities

Perform 24/7 real-time monitoring of application health and infrastructure performance

Act as the first point of contact for technical incidents, performing initial troubleshooting and resolution.

Monitor and maintain payment transaction flows for EDC, QRIS, and mobile platforms to ensure zero downtime.

Assist in the administration and maintenance of applications hosted on OCP (OpenShift) and GCP (Google Cloud Platform).

Execute basic database tasks and performance checks on MySQL and Oracle environments.

Document incident reports, operational procedures, and technical shifts logs accurately.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Red Hat Certified Specialist, or ITIL Foundation).

Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python) for basic task automation.

Prior experience or internship in the Fintech or Banking industry.
