About the role
We are looking for System Analyst to join our growing Information and Communication Technology team. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta. As a System Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technology solutions. You will be responsible for analysing organisational systems, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending technological solutions that drive operational efficiency and business growth. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects whilst contributing to the strategic technology initiatives of our organisation.
Key responsibilities
Gather, analyse and document business requirements from stakeholders and end-users
Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
Design and recommend system solutions that align with business objectives and technical feasibility
Develop detailed functional specifications and system design documentation
Collaborate with IT development teams to ensure accurate implementation of system requirements
Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to validate system performance and functionality
Provide technical support and training to end-users during system implementation and deployment
Monitor system performance and prepare reports on key metrics and improvements
Maintain documentation of systems, processes and technical specifications
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for process optimisation
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
Experience working as a System Analyst or in a similar business analysis role
Strong proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques
Solid understanding of systems development methodologies (SDLC, Agile, etc.)
Experience with business process modelling tools and techniques
Proficiency in using system analysis and design tools (such as UML, flowcharting software or similar)
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
Experience with database concepts and SQL is advantageous
Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is preferred
Knowledge of IT security and compliance requirements is beneficial
