Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced System Analyst to join our team. This role requires a detail-oriented analyst with strong expertise in banking products and systems, proficiency in requirement analysis, functional design, and SQL-based data investigation, and proven capability in bridging business users with technical teams throughout the full system development lifecycle.
Requirement
● Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or a related field
● 3–5 years of experience as a System Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services
● Strong SQL skills for data investigation, reconciliation, and validation
● Understanding of integration patterns and standards such as REST, SOAP, JSON/XML, ISO 8583, ISO 20022, and batch file interfaces
● Proficiency in requirement modeling and documentation using UML, BPMN, and tools such as Visio, draw.io, or Figma
● Basic grasp of application architecture, databases, and at least one programming language sufficient to read code
● Experience with SDLC methodologies including Waterfall and Agile/Scrum, and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
● Strong analytical and detail-oriented thinking, with the ability to identify edge cases in financial calculations
● Clear communication skills, able to translate between business users and technical teams
● Solid stakeholder management, able to challenge and negotiate requirements constructively
● Ability to work under pressure during releases, period-end closing, and incident escalation
Responsibilities
● Participate in architectural decisions and technical planning
● Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain code quality standards
● Lead technical discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions
● Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders
● Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time
● Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge base
