System Analyst Internship (Unpaid Internship)

The System Analyst Internship is designed to support system analysis and the development of data-driven solutions. The intern will be responsible for assisting in business requirements analysis, identifying system-related issues, and collaborating with the team to design effective solutions. You will have the opportunity to be involved throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from the planning and analysis stages to implementation. In addition, you will gain hands-on experience in applying concepts such as SDLC, UML, and software documentation to real-world projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and analyzing business and user requirements.
• Analyze and document existing and proposed business processes.
• Translate business requirements into functional and system requirements.
• Assist in analyzing and configuring Odoo ERP modules based on business needs.
• Prepare and maintain system documentation, including Business Process Flows, User Requirements, Functional Specifications, and User Guides.
• Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and document testing results and identified issues.
• Coordinate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure system requirements are properly understood and implemented.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to use AI and automation to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
• Support system implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with other projects related to Odoo, AI, business process improvement, and system development.

About you

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in ERP, Odoo, Business Process Analysis, System Analysis, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Basic understanding of business processes and system requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of Odoo, BPMN, flowcharts, SQL, or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and work with both technical and business teams.
