Deskripsi pekerjaan System Administrator (Project Based) PT. ALL DATA INTERNATIONAL
System Administrator (Redis)
Full-time, Project-based 6 Month
Job Description:
- Architect and deploy multi-node Redis Enterprise clusters in server-based environments
- Lead the implementation and upgrade of multiple Redis clusters, including data migration planning and execution
- Design and validate migration strategies using tools provided by Redis
- Configure and manage Active-Passive and CRDB replication topologies across data centres
- Define and enforce cluster configuration standards — eviction policies, persistence, ACLs, etc.
- Lead post-migration data integrity validation and risk assessment
- Mentor the mid/junior Redis Administrator and review their work
- Collaborate with the Technical Lead on migration runbooks and rollback plans
- Serve as the escalation point for cluster-level incidents and performance issues
Requirements :
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering, with at least 3 years working directly with Redis or Redis Enterprise
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of Redis Enterprise cluster architecture — node roles, shard distribution, replication, and failover
- Proven experience executing or planning Redis cluster migrations or version upgrades in production
- Strong understanding of Redis data structures, persistence mechanisms (RDB/AOF), and eviction policies
- Familiarity with Redis Enterprise REST API for cluster and database management
- Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, or Kubernetes for stateful workload deployment
- Solid scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation and tooling
- Experience with CRDB, Replica Of, or Active-Active replication is strongly preferred
Plus Points;
- You have hands-on experience with Redis Enterprise specifically, not just open-source Redis
- You have planned and executed a rip-and-replace or major version migration of a Redis cluster in a production environment
- You understand the data loss risk profile of different migration strategies and can articulate tradeoffs clearly
- You are comfortable reading and writing against the Redis Enterprise REST API to automate cluster operations
