Deskripsi pekerjaan System Administrator (Middle-Senior Level) Meda

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator or DevOps or other similar roles.
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
Experience with various operating systems and platforms in cloud computing.
Experience with cloud services and its components such as storage buckets, compute engines, relational database services (RDS), network and security groups, virtual private networks (VPNs), and more.
Familiarity with major cloud service providers, their services, and how to effectively utilize them for different needs.
Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes with minimum 2 years of experience.
Understanding of orchestration and deployment patterns using these technologies.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and related tools with minimum 1 year of experience.
Proficiency in shell scripting and other scripting tools for task automation and system administration tasks.
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage numerous demands.
Experience with project management tools and software to facilitate planning, tracking, and reporting.
Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies in system administration.
