SIKI Nusa Dua is looking for a passionate and skilled Sushi Maker to join our culinary team. If you have experience in Japanese cuisine and take pride in delivering high-quality dishes, we'd love to hear from you!
Location: SIKI Nusa Dua, Bali
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain the freshness and proper handling of ingredients following food safety standards.
- Prepare mise en place before daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, equipment, and kitchen utensils.
- Monitor ingredient usage and minimize food waste.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Comply with all company SOPs, hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school or vocational school graduate, preferably in Culinary Arts or Hospitality.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Sushi Maker, Sushi Chef, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine.
- Understanding of seafood handling and food safety standards.
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, responsible, and a strong team player.
- Willing to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
