Deskripsi pekerjaan Sushi Cook - Bali Will Meyrick Restaurants
Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi, sashimi, maki, nigiri, and other Japanese dishes.
- Prepare and handle fish, seafood, rice, vegetables, and other ingredients.
- Ensure food quality, freshness, taste, and presentation.
- Follow standard recipes and portion sizes.
- Prepare mise en place before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and sushi station.
- Store and handle ingredients properly according to food safety standards.
- Check ingredient quality and report any issues to the Chef.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Minimize food waste and use ingredients properly.
- Assist with other kitchen duties when required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Sushi Cook or similar position.
- Basic knowledge of sushi preparation and Japanese cuisine.
- Good knife skills.
- Understand basic food safety and hygiene.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
