Inventory finished goods (FG) Management : Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks at the right location
Inventory raw packing materials (RPM) Management and supplier assessment:
- Balance the need for finished goods availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory of raw packaging materials to ensure optimum RPM inventory at the right time and location
- Place and follow PR/PO for RPM until the delivery is completed
- Manage international and local suppliers to ensure the supply versus demand taking into account the warehouse constraint
- Assess suppliers and provide feedback to Procurement "
Inventory of custody Management :
- Balance the need for finished goods availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory of custody to ensure optimum custody inventory at the right time and location
- Propose yearly new purchase plan of custody (empty bottles, pallets, and plywood)
- Balance custody return daily versus the production plan taking into account the constraint of warehouse"
Create a feasible monthly/weekly/daily production plans for the factories/outsources under responsibility taking into account production constraints and relevant lead time.
Identify practical issues / possible problem and possible opportunities concerning major events e.g. factory shutdowns, timing of promotion activities, transition of old/new products and etc.
Give advance information on labour requirements for short to medium term.
Analyse and proactive/ effective communication supply issues to relevant parties
- Highlighting all supply issues
- Detailing impacts of proposed action and related trade offs.
Ensuring actions and Supply Plans are realistic and achievable in accordance with Business Planning Process."
Be effective member in New Product Development Process, ensure all planning activities along the process are meet target timeline and support product launch.
Analyze relevant supply parameters and seek for improvements on regular basis to manage lot sizes, cycle time, production frequency, frozen period, R&P inventory level etc, to drive optimum FG inventory level.
Engage in NCE activities in order to have continuous improvements
2-3 Years of relevant operational experiences especially in FMCG, at least one of the following areas:
- Supply Planning
- Factory Planning
- Demand Planning
Additional experiences in production planning and customer service and procurement would be a plus
