Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the quantity surveying and drafting teams to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
- Contact with overseas teams to align on project requirements and updates.
- Review and verify the accuracy of quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and drafts.
- Work with clients and project managers to meet project timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare and present project updates and team performance reports.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3 - 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or similar role
- Extensive experience in roofing and plumbing estimation is a must
- Strong understanding of roofing systems (metal, asphalt shingles, flat roofs, etc.), their specifications, and market trends.
- Proficiency in estimation software such as PlanSwift or other industry-standard tools
- Understanding of structural drafting is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is a must, including excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely project delivery.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to address challenges in project estimation.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
