Position: Purchasing Supervisor

About the Role
We are looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to oversee procurement activities and ensure the timely, cost-effective, and efficient sourcing of materials, spare parts, and services. The ideal candidate has strong procurement expertise, project involvement in cost-saving initiatives, and the ability to lead purchasing operations while maintaining excellent relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, spare parts, and services.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost efficiency and operational excellence.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Lead and participate in procurement-related projects, particularly cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procurement procedures.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare procurement reports, analyze purchasing data, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Utilize SAP MM to manage procurement transactions and maintain accurate purchasing records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) from a reputable university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Purchasing Supervisor.
- Proven experience in procurement projects, preferably involving cost-saving initiatives.
- Experienced in purchasing various categories, including raw materials, spare parts, and services.
- Proficient in SAP MM (experience with SAP HANA MM is a plus).
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, including business correspondence.
- Strong analytical thinking, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Willing to work full-time onsite in Bantargebang, Bekasi.
