Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily TV production activities, including assembly, testing, inspection, and packing processes.
- Ensure production schedules and daily, weekly, and monthly output targets are achieved.
- Monitor and optimize production line performance to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process and minimize defects, rework, and scrap.
- Analyze production performance, identify process bottlenecks, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with PPIC, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Warehouse, and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor key production indicators such as productivity, line efficiency, OEE, cycle time, First Pass Yield (FPY), and downtime.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve optimal production efficiency.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, including KPI performance analysis.
- Provide coaching, training, performance evaluation, and development for Team Leaders and Production Operators.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (EHS), company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote workplace discipline, teamwork, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of TV manufacturing processes, including Assembly, Functional Testing, Aging Test, Final Inspection, and Packing.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Line Balancing, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Familiar with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), quality control tools, and problem-solving techniques (8D, Fishbone Diagram, 5 Why, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Willing to work in shifts when required.
