The foundation empowers local people and businesses through practical education programs to improve the local environment and develop sustainable communities. R.O.L.E. Foundation operates Bali WISE, empowering marginalized women through skills education, and the ZeroWaste Center, providing environmental knowledge and waste management training.
Job Description
Bali WISE is looking for a dynamic Student Outreach Officer to be the bridge between marginalized communities and life-changing education. You will be traveling Bali island and across Indonesia to identify and recruit potential students, ensuring they have the tools and support to break the cycle of poverty.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Recruitment & Outreach
Identify and target potential candidates through schools, community centers, and local governments.
Plan and execute recruitment visit including itinerary management, budgeting, and conducting walk-in interviews in remote areas.
2. Partnership & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong alliances with NGOs, village leaders (Kepala Desa), and educational institutions.
Represent Bali WISE at external events and socializations to promote our mission.
Act as the primary liaison between candidates, their families, and the organization.
3. Student Interview
Conduct screenings, interviews, and assessments to select the most motivated candidates.
Support students onboarding (arrivals, check-in, uniforms)
4. Project Management & Administration
Coordinate "Recruitment Officers in Remote Areas" (RORA), providing training and administrative oversight.
Maintain accurate databases of recruitment metrics and student profiles.
Qualification
- Passion for Mission: A deep commitment to women’s empowerment and education.
- Networking Pro: Proven ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders, from government officials to marginalized families.
- Travel Ready: Willingness to travel to remote regions and navigate various field conditions.
- Communication: Strong public speaking and presentation skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Organized: Ability to manage budgets, itineraries, and recruitment reports with high attention to detail.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Words, Excels, and PowerPoint.
