WE ARE HIRING — STORE MANAGER

PT Genggo Technologies Indonesia is looking for an experienced Store Manager to join our team at Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta.

Genggo is a One Stop Shop for Your Phone, providing mobile phone accessories, phone-related products, and iPhone rental services with a rent-to-own concept, where customers can eventually own the device after completing the agreed rental period.

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily store operations, leading the Store Crew, achieving sales targets, maintaining excellent customer service, managing inventory, and coordinating with management and external parties. This is a hands-on position, so the Store Manager must also be willing to directly handle customers and assist the Store Crew when needed.

📌 Requirements

• Male/Female, maximum 35 years old
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1)
• Minimum experience in retail
• Experience working in a mobile phone, gadget, accessories, distributor, or phone/cell store is preferred
• Experience as Store Manager, Store Leader, Supervisor, Head Store, or similar leadership position
• Strong experience in team management and people handling
• Experience leading and supervising a team
• Willing and able to directly handle customers and assist Store Crew when needed
• Good communication, negotiation, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in Mandarin and able to communicate effectively in a professional working environment
• Able to handle customer complaints, team matters, and external parties professionally
• Understand retail sales and store operations
• Experience working with sales targets
• Understand stock management and inventory control
• Able to use Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for operational data and sales analysis
• Able to manage both offline store and e-commerce operations
• Responsible, disciplined, honest, and well-presented
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to work 6 days per week with 1 day off
• Willing to be placed in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta

• Previous experience working in a mobile phone, gadget, accessories, distributor, or phone/cell store
• Previous experience working in a Chinese company / China-based company
• Experience working with Chinese management or Chinese business owners
• Experience communicating in Mandarin with management, vendors, customers, and external parties
• Strong customer handling and complaint resolution skills
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing both offline store and e-commerce operations
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
  

🎯 Responsibilities

Store Operations

1. Manage daily store operations
2. Ensure all store SOPs are properly implemented
3. Maintain store cleanliness, product display, and overall store condition
4. Supervise incoming and outgoing goods
5. Ensure smooth daily store activities

Leadership & Team Management

1. Lead, manage, coach, and evaluate Store Crew
2. Divide tasks and ensure each team member performs their responsibilities properly
3. Monitor team performance and provide direction or evaluation when needed
4. Handle team discipline and performance issues
5. Motivate the team to achieve store sales targets
6. Resolve conflicts and operational issues within the team

Sales & Customer Service

1. Monitor and improve store sales performance
2. Ensure store sales targets are achieved
3. Directly handle customers and assist Store Crew in serving customers when needed
4. Handle customer inquiries and product/service explanations
5. Handle customer complaints and difficult customer situations professionally
6. Ensure excellent customer service and customer experience
7. Assist customers in understanding Genggo products and services
8. Ensure customers receive accurate information regarding Genggo’s iPhone rent-to-own program

Inventory & Stock Management

1. Monitor and control inventory
2. Manage stock for both offline store and e-commerce
3. Ensure stock availability and accuracy between store and e-commerce
4. Supervise incoming and outgoing goods
5. Maintain accurate stock records
6. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies

E-Commerce & Digital Operations

1. Support and manage e-commerce operations
2. Monitor product and stock availability across e-commerce platforms
3. Ensure offline store and e-commerce stock remain synchronized
4. Coordinate with relevant teams regarding online orders and inventory

Reporting & Analysis

1. Prepare operational and sales reports
2. Use Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for reporting and data analysis
3. Monitor sales performance, inventory, and store operations
4. Identify operational issues and provide appropriate solutions

External Relations & Problem Solving

1. Handle daily operational issues and make appropriate decisions when problems arise
2. Coordinate and negotiate with management, vendors, landlord, government officers, and other external parties when necessary
3. Handle government or external inspections professionally
4. Ensure the necessary information and documentation are properly prepared during inspections
5. Communicate professionally with external parties and maintain good working relationships
6. Escalate matters to management when necessary

Mandarin Communication

1. Communicate with management, vendors, customers, and external parties in Mandarin when required
2. Assist with Mandarin communication related to store operations
3. Communicate operational issues and updates clearly to management
