BORWITA GROUP is a privately held, independent distribution company with a dominant presence in Eastern Indonesia. Founded in 1976 by Mr. Hady Karyono, Borwita was involved in the business of pharmaceutical distribution based in Surabaya. The company’s business grew aggressively and in 1988, Borwita started a Consumer Products Distribution Division.
Driven by the rapid growth of the consumer products distribution division, PT. Borwita Citra Prima (BCP) was incorporated in 1995. Todate, BCP distributes the full spectrum of consumer products, including personal care & hygiene, food, beverage and snacks. BCP’s principals are market leaders within their respective segments and includes both multinationals (MNCs) as well as home-grown conglomerates.
Borwita’s current distribution reach span across East Jakarta, Central Java, East Java, Bali, Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Sulawesi, Maluku, and Irian Jaya. Our family of 5,528 people are our greatest assets which allows us to cover 540,000+ outlets across all channels, ranging in size from hypermarket, supermarkets, minimarkets, wholesalers, big retailers, and small stores. Operationally, Borwita’s infrastructure includes 43 warehouses, strategically positioned throughout Eastern Indonesia, 432 delivery trucks/vans and 467 delivery motorcycles operating out of 170 branch offices. Commencing 2014, Borwita has expanded its business to start a Logistic Services units. Leveraging its strong infrastructure and network, backed by strong & in-depth experiences logistic professionals, Borwita Logistic has been able to provides & serves unique solutions to its customers in warehousing, multi-mode deliveries, and cross-docking activities.
