Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by actively approaching potential customers in industrial and manufacturing sectors
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, and business discussions to understand customer needs and offer suitable solution
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve sales targets
- Collaborate closely with internal sales and other departments (production, planning, logistics) to ensure smooth order processing and on-time delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand to identify potential growth opportunities
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and ongoing projects to ensure conversion into sales orders
- Handle customer complaints or issues effectively and provide timely solutions to maintain customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline in the system (CRM/ERP)
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management review
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Commercial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Sales, preferably in B2B or manufacturing industry (experience in steel, automotive, or industrial products is an advantage)
- Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to develop new markets and achieve sales targets
- Good understanding of sales processes, from lead generation to closing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently, proactive, and highly motivated
- Willing to travel for customer visits and business development activities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP/CRM systems
