Scentsorylab Bali is a creative studio and learning space dedicated to the art and science of sensory craftsmanship. We offer hands-on classes in perfumery, cosmetic formulation, and holistic beauty β blending traditional botanical knowledge with modern cosmetic science in the heart of Bali.
Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging Beauty & Fragrance Trainer to lead our signature classes. You will be the face of the Scentsorylab experience β guiding students through the craft of creating their own perfumes, skincare, haircare, and aromatherapy products in an inspiring, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct hands-on training classes covering:
πΈ Perfumery β fragrance blending, note building, and olfactory education
𧴠Body Care β lotions, scrubs, balms, and bath products
β¨ Face Care β serums, creams, toners, and masks
π Hair Care β shampoos, conditioners, hair oils, and treatments
π Cosmetic Formulation β foundations, lip products, and colour cosmetics
πΏ Aromatherapy β essential oil blending, therapeutic applications, and diffuser formulas
Prepare materials, formulations, and workstations before each session
Adapt class delivery to suit beginner, intermediate, and advanced participants
Ensure a safe, clean, and inspiring studio environment
Support curriculum development and new class concepts
Provide professional, friendly, and educational guidance throughout each class
Requirements
Fluent in English (spoken and written) required, as classes are held in English
Background or certification in cosmetic formulation, aromatherapy, beauty, or a related field
Strong passion for natural ingredients, fragrance, and beauty craftsmanship
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Patient, creative, and enthusiastic about teaching
Able to work independently and manage class flow confidently
Willing to work on weekends (Bali's peak class schedule includes weekends)
