We are looking for a sharp, analytical Finance Executive to take ownership of our financial health and cashflow strategy. In this role, you will be the architect of our cashflow forecasting, ensuring every divisional plan is executed strictly on time and on budget. You will serve as the crucial "maker" in our accounts payable workflow—setting up payments for final release by ownership. This role is for a highly detailed gatekeeper who solves financial problems at their root and plans robust strategies that allow the company to grow sustainably.
You will be successful in this work if you can maintain highly accurate cashflow forecasts with minimal variance and ensure zero errors when acting as the AP "maker" prior to ownership's final release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cashflow Forecasting & Budget Enforcement: Take full ownership of cashflow forecasting. Collect, consolidate, and critically review budget requests from all divisions. Ensure every plan is executed strictly on time and on budget, flagging any unfeasible requests to maintain sustainable growth.
- Accounts Payable & The 'Maker' Role: Act as the dedicated "maker" for all corporate payments. Receive verified three-way matched documents (PR, PO, QC receipt, and Invoice) from the accounting department, audit the final figures, and prepare the payment schedules in the banking system for final release and authorization by ownership.
- Financial Analysis & Discrepancy Resolution: Review the monthly and quarterly financial reports generated by the accounting team. Actively monitor planned versus actual money inflow and outflow, investigate discrepancies deeply to identify the root cause, and implement structural solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) strictly in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience in Corporate Finance, Budget, or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
- Technical Knowledge:
o Spreadsheet Mastery: Highly proficient in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
o System Familiarity: Understand deeply how to read and extract analytical reports from Accurate accounting software.
- Soft Skills:
o Analytical Gatekeeper: Unafraid to push back on divisions if budget requests are off or not financially feasible.
o Internal Controls Mindset: Deep understanding of the "Maker/Checker" workflow and segregation of duties.
o Problem Solver: Actively hunts down the root cause to fix the underlying issue.
