Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly tax calculations and tax reports.
- Prepare and reconcile input and output VAT reports.
- Reconcile tax balances with the General Ledger and accounting records.
- Review transactions to ensure accurate VAT treatment and withholding tax compliance.
- Maintain complete tax documentation and supporting schedules.
- Assess the tax implications of business transactions, including distributor incentives, product returns, and other commercial activities.
- Prepare and issue tax invoices (Faktur Pajak) and commercial invoices.
- Prepare weekly and monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reports
- Follow up with customers to ensure timely payment
- Coordinate with sales teams to resolve collection issues
- Escalate overdue accounts and support recovery actions where necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in taxation, preferably in the FMCG, retail, or beauty industry.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax.
- Experienced in preparing tax calculations, tax reporting, tax reconciliations, and Faktur Pajak administration.
- Familiar with tax audits and maintaining complete tax documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with ERP/accounting systems.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized with strong numerical skills.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Brevet A & B certification is preferred.
