Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
- Experience with:
Android SDK
Android Studio
Jetpack Components
MVVM Architecture
RESTful API Integration
JSON Parsing
Git Version Control - Familiarity with:
Coroutines
Retrofit
Room Database
Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger)
Firebase
Gradle
CI/CD Pipeline - Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Knowledge of Android UI/UX guidelines and Material Design.
- Understanding of mobile application security, encryption, authentication, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with banking or financial services applications is an advantage
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Android mobile applications for CIMB Niaga's digital banking services.
- Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Android applications.
- Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analyst, UI/UX Designer, Backend Developer, QA Engineer, and DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate Android applications with RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization.
- Ensure application security, reliability, and compliance with banking security standards.
- Fix defects and provide production support for application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
- Prepare technical documentation in accordance with SDLC and project governance requirements.
- Support application deployment, release management, and post-implementation monitoring.
- Stay updated with Android technologies and recommend improvements to application architecture and development practices.
