About the Role
Qatar Airways is seeking a customer-oriented Spa Therapist with expertise in providing spa and beauty treatments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering professional services, ensuring customer comfort and safety, and maintaining the company's quality and hygiene standards across all treatments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Spa Services and Treatments:
- Provide spa and beauty treatments, including massages, facials, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, and waxing, according to their qualifications and competencies
- Understand customers' needs and recommend suitable treatments
- Ensure customers receive a comfortable, relaxing, and professional spa experience.
2. Quality and Safety Standards:
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with established operating procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms, equipment, and spa supplies.
- Ensure treatment equipment and products are used and stored correctly.
3. Operational Management:
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and products before services begin.
- Ensure the spa area remains clean, organized, and ready for use at all times.
- Report supply requirements, equipment conditions, and operational issues to the relevant personnel.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and comply with company policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Hold professional qualifications or certifications in spa therapy or beauty therapy, as required by the company.
- Possess practical skills in providing spa and beauty treatments relevant to the role.
- Have a good understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures in spa services.
- Demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills.
- Be able to communicate in English as required for the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in the spa, wellness, or beauty industry, subject to the company's recruitment requirements.
- Professional certifications such as CIBTAC, CIDESCO, or other certifications recognized by the company.
- Experience in providing a variety of spa treatments and addressing different customer needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a dynamic working environment.
