Responsibilities:
- Develop and design a creative, seasonal menu that reflects our brand’s playful yet sophisticated style. Incorporate fresh, high-quality ingredients and cater to a variety of dietary preferences.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Ensure the kitchen runs efficiently and meets our high standards.
- Lead, train, and inspire kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Maintain exceptional standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality. Ensure that every dish is prepared and presented to perfection.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs while minimizing waste. Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience. Address any special requests or concerns with professionalism and creativity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant café setting. Experience in a creative, upscale environment is a plus.
- Exceptional culinary skills, including menu design, food presentation, and flavor profiling. Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of food safety standards, kitchen equipment, and inventory management.
- Passionate about creating unique and delightful dining experiences with a flair for innovation and style.
