Academia is a Singapore-based enrichment centre that focuses on the education of English, Literature and General Paper for students in Primary, Secondary and Tertiary education. We take on a humanities-oriented approach in our curriculum, and expertly combine global insights with the local education curriculum, to cultivate our students into future global leaders.
We are looking to hire Front Desk Assistants who will act as the primary voice of Academia's digital channels to establish availability and relatability to our clients. The candidate will be overseeing the range of enquiries that we receive daily on our digital communication channels, including WhatsApp, Email, Facebook, etc, via a message aggregator system. As the world transforms ever more swiftly into digital solutions, it is paramount as well for us to ensure our digital communications channels are effective and accurately responsive. You will work with clear understanding of our workflows, and communication SOPs, and utilise a range of carefully crafted template responses to ensure preliminary enquiries are resolved in a timely manner. You will also act as the bridge to the Front Desk Managers should enquiries need to be escalated for more in-depth steps and solutions.

• Proficient in English and Mandarin
• Digitally savvy with an advanced understanding of digital language for effective professional communications
• Intermediate to proficient skills in written English
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm amidst busy times
• Ability to determine, prioritize and resolve urgent issues
• Be able to maintain a professional tone throughout conversations, regardless of the situation
• Comfortable with working on a 4 weekday + 1 weekend (Saturday)
