Technical Delivery
Lead the regional management team in developing business plans, budgets and strategies for consideration by the Board and implement approved plans, budgets and strategies
Ensure that the business structure and processes meet the strategic and cultural needs of
the organisation
Identify and manage operational & corporate risk that could have an impact on the
businesses and formulate strategies for managing and mitigating those risks
Ensure financial and other reporting mechanism, controls and monitoring systems are in
place to capture all relevant information in a timely manner
Provide timely and accurate information & reports to CEO and Management in regard to the
business’ operations, corporate performance, financial condition and prospects
Inform CEO and Management of all events which may or do have a material impact on the
organisation’s activities or well-being
Setting up, maintaining and reviewing organisational structure, systems, policies, processes
and procedures, in order to guide, support, inform, service and monitor various functions of
the organisation
Provide internal leadership direction, goals and energy to the organisation’s personnel
Create and drive a culture of innovation and enablement, underpinned by and expressing
the values and philosophy of the business
Keep a close watch on the external environment and steer the organisation to a position of
best advantage
Keep abreast with political, governmental, business and industry components of the external
environment, on a local, national and international level
Provide thought leadership by participating in appropriate business and professional
associations, networks and industry bodies
Implement and drive initiatives to deliver on the organisation objectives
Promote an environment of continuous improvement in all areas of the business that results
in enhanced innovation, efficiency, effectiveness, accountability and collaboration across integrated lines of business
Key Performance Indicators
Aspire to lead the HP business in achieving financial goals
Learn and be able to understand and operate the Oracle business in 6 months
Generate for the HP business a minimum annual gross revenue of US$17 million in the first year
Generate for the HP business a minimum Net Profit After Tax of US$1 million for the first year
Credit Management
Manage and maintain fast credit collectability of account receivables
Be prudent in onboarding credit worthy clients
Monitor and manage clients closely and thereby keeping bad debts to a minimal
Manage to the scope, commercial and contractual terms of the project
Portfolio Management
Maintain an accurate forecast of project costs for all assigned projects
Prioritise resource allocation to deliver multiple projects simultaneously
Report to management on the status of projects and how risks are bring managed
Account Management
Manage the production and submission of high-quality customer proposals
Identify new and repeat business opportunities
Manage the sales process and pipeline for owned opportunities
Manage allocated customer relationships
Customer Relationship Management
Builds and maintains customer relationships to position Company as a supplier of choice
Builds customer confidence through trusted communication and a demonstrated
understanding of customer needs
Encourages repeat business by maintaining positive relationships with customers
Identifies new opportunities and distributorships for Company
