Solution Analyst — Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify gaps, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design solution architecture and system workflows based on business requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including System Requirement Specification (SRS), Functional Specification, HLA, and system flow documentation.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, QA, Project Managers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technical solutions based on business needs, system feasibility, scalability, and maintainability.
- Develop and review system integration designs between multiple applications or systems.
- Support development teams by clarifying requirements and ensuring solutions are implemented according to the approved design.
- Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, including production issues, and provide root-cause analysis and appropriate solutions.
- Review application performance and existing system architecture to identify areas for optimization.
- Ensure technical solutions comply with business requirements, standards, and project objectives.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure smooth implementation and deployment of solutions.
- Prepare and maintain runbooks, deployment documentation, and technical knowledge documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and support during implementation, deployment, and post-production activities.
Requirements / Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.- Experience in Solution Analysis, System Analysis, Business Analysis, or Software Development.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, system analysis, software architecture, and system integration.
- Proficient in creating system documentation, process flows, use cases, and technical specifications.
- Familiar with Java, SQL, database systems, REST API, and web technologies.
- Experience with UML, system architecture, UI/UX, and data analysis.
- Familiar with testing processes, particularly SIT and UAT.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Postman, Visual Paradigm, Figma, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar tools is an advantage.
